Today, we would like to highlight 10 iconic female songwriters in K-Pop that have and still are shaping the Korean music industry through their contribution. This list is subjective and not ranked.   Cloud , real name Koh Hyung-Seok (Korean: 고형석; born April 6, 1991), is a multi-instrumentalist and prolific musician who has been working on the Korean music scene since 2010. Koh started his career as a keyboardist for the band Bye Bye Badman and a member of CHEEZE and has worked alongside K-pop soloist Yerin Baek since her debut album  Frank . Koh has also produced tracks for many well-known Korean artists such as Chungha, Giriboy, B1A4, Car, the garden, and more.   Sam Kim  ( Korean :  샘김 ; born February 19, 1998) is a  Korean-American  singer-songwriter, producer and guitarist. “Love Me Like That” is Sam Kim’s heavenly contribution to the original soundtrack for Korean romance drama  Nevertheless . Many fans who heard the song in the drama were anticipating its official release to streaming platforms, which happened a month after the first episode was released. The song is telling of both characters in the drama, who have troubles with love, as indicated in the first verse and the pre-choruses of the song.
