Non è un caso allora che  fra le poche canzoni registrate che continuano a girare da anni  sulla mia autoradio vi sia "Put your records on" di Corinne Bailey Rae! Sentendo "Corinne" citata nella canzone di IU "Palette" ( But still, I like Corinne’s music )  ho avuto un sospetto..... e googlando ho capito essere IU grande fan della Bailey Rae. Spiega tutto. Regole di lettura coreano

 da persiincorea Consonanti finali Alcune consonanti, per una questione di fonetica, cambiano suono quando si trovano alla fine della sillaba: le lettere  ㄷ, ㅅ, ㅆ, ㅈ, ㅊ, ㅌ, ㅎ  acquisiscono tutte il suono “t” (es. 곧 “got”, 맛 “mat”, 빛 “bit”, 밑 “mit” ecc..); le lettere  ㅂ  e  ㅍ  hanno entrambe il suono “p” (es. 밥 “bap”, 숲 “sup”); le lettere  ㄱ, ㄲ, ㅋ  acquisiscono tutte il suono “k” (es. 책 “chek”, 볶 “bok”, 부엌 “buok”); N.B.  E’ da ricordare che la pronuncia di queste consonanti finali è implosiva, cioè le lettere non vengono pronunciate apertamente ma sono mute. Praticamente immaginate di avere la bocca nella posizione giusta per pronunciare il suono ma senza farlo uscire dalla bocca. Quando la  ㄹ  si trova in posizione finale si legge “l” (es. 날 “mal”, 달 “dal”); quando la  ㅇ  si trova in posizione finale si legge “ng” (es. 강 “kang”, 방 “bang”). Rafforzamento Le consonanti  ㄱ, ㄷ, ㅂ, ㅅ, ㅈ  subiscono un rafforzamento e raddoppiano il suono quando sono precedute da qualsiasi consonante ad eccez
